Nitzan Horowitz and Hervé Deguine, authors of the book “Besieged – In the Hell of October 7”, are the winners of the 2025 Galatée Prize. This French literary award, presented for the first time this year, honors a work jointly written by two authors. “The Besieged” was unanimously selected by the jury.
The book recounts the story of the 27 Israelis trapped in the “death shelter” at the Re’im junction on the morning of October 7, 2023.
